To further your interest in astronomy our observing sessions are designed to help you get the best out of the night sky. Within a couple of hours on a good evening, you can see as many as 15 to 20 objects in the night sky. You may already have your own telescope or binoculars, and as a group we will be guiding ourselves around the constellations, and hopefully helping you learn more about astronomy and getting the best out of your equipment.

We now have our own collection of telescopes too, from a 75mm refractor through to a 10" Dobsonian, so you can experience the different advantages and different sizes and types of telescope that can help you develop your interest. Or use your own, practice makes perfect.

If you want to get out there and do more practical astronomy then we can help with a series of events and observing sessions, right across Hampshire, utilising some of the best dark sky sites discovered by us.
