Welcome to HantsAstro. Astronomy that's really 'Out There'. Whether on
your own or in a group, stargazing is fun at any level. Pretty much any
telescope or binoculars will improve what you can see with just your
own eyes. Who needs BIG Telescopes? It's not just about the gear (though
it is nice!)
It's for anyone who has an interest in Astronomy who want's
to use this as a stepping stone into something more active.
We will tell you what is happening and where in Hampshire to go to regarding
all things astronomical. New dark sky sites, the observatories, planetariums,
what to look at and how to get the best from your equipment. Unique UK
based reviews on 'Grab n Go' scopes and other equipment, so you can beat the Hampshire weather!
We have launched a monthly eZine Look Up!, that will give you

This is the first
astronomy group of it's kind - it's online but not virtual. There's no
risk, and no catch.

all have a wealth of experience and regular talks and seminars. Some also
have their own observatories with some of the best 'scopes in the UK. Join
